Born and raised in Ghana, Kwadwo Amfo is a multidisciplinary photographer and director recognised for his intimate and empowering imagery.

His work explores themes of cultural transformation, social identity, and self-expression, with a strong commitment to honouring the authenticity of his subjects. Based between Amsterdam and Paris, Amfo maintains a distinct visual language across all aspects of his practice. His portraits—recognisable for their strength and sensitivity—have led to collaborations with leading publications and brands.

A recipient of the Ron Mandos Photo Talent Award in 2022, he has exhibited at international art fairs, including the Scotia Bank Contact Photo Festival in Toronto, Unseen Amsterdam, Art Rotterdam, and at Ron Mandos Gallery in Amsterdam.

His images have appeared in publications such as British Vogue, Vogue Netherlands, Marie Claire, French Fries Magazine, JAN Magazine, and Harper's Bazaar.
